her voting record is much better than her communication. in terms of her wielding of power, her rhetoric appears to be more disingenuous than her voting, supposing that being one of the few hundred people that get their opinion directly represented and counted within the bourgeois governance is more materially impactful than the stuff she says.

That is a very strange combination. Plenty of politicians who lie and say they’ll be good on issues but ultimately aren’t, I can’t really think of any who say they’ll do the shit thing but actually end up not being as bad as they say they are.

That’s pretty smart because libs care more about sound bytes than voting records.

Good point. I’d argue that as someone who has such a large platform, her rhetoric is almost or equally as important as her voting record.

as one member in a 435 seat congress, and that isn’t even the whole legislature, her vote means almost nothing as far as affecting change.

Her voting record still sucks, but you’re right that it’s better than her words. I don’t understand the why of it.

i think it’s very simple actually. she has basic personal principles that are fundamentally centered on center-left policy including a dim view on imperialism - this explains her voting record. she is incredibly cowardly about getting yelled at by interest groups that rile up internet posters - this explains her horrible communications trying to placate liberals and zionists.

I can’t respect a coward. She’s still cancelled for Zionism. If she heel turns and publicly advocates the US invade Israel maybe I’ll vote for her presidential run but it’ll take that to win me over.
