(Of course despite being happy that Hugh Thompson put a stop to the My Lai massacre, there’s no denying that as a soldier he still would’ve been responsible for murdering people he had zero business doing; putting a stop to My Lai doesn’t absolve him of guilt, but it’s not nothing)
