Oh yeah I just ate it with nothing else, it was truly an awful experience and not the way to eat a century egg especially not for your first experience to them.

I’ve never had it without congee or tofu. I don’t feel like it’s a food that you can just full send on its own, but it’s an amazing flavor enhancer.

Yeah it’s pretty on par with like drinking a bit of soy sauce, not quite as salty but similar vibe. It’s really such a topping
Yeah I always just mix it into rice or noodles etc. Can’t put too much in at once.
