Conversely, if you go on Chinese social media, you’ll see that most actually support the crackdown on traffic in the past decade+. I knew a driver for hire circa 2005 who literally had a trunk full of license plates he used whenever he needed to provide expedited service. That kind of thing is much rarer now, and most people see that as a good thing. Although, maybe Amerikkkans would be mourning his freedom to run red lights.
