Synopsis: A crook builds a robotic teddy bear to rob the homes of the people who buy it before returning to him. When he tries to retrieve the bear from a poor family with nothing worth stealing, the love of the couple’s crippled son turns the bear against him and he is arrested.

I tried to find a gif of those old high quality dancing elmo toys but I can only find gifs of people setting them on fire and blowing them up.

I especially love how the "robot’ has no supporting structure or apparent limb motors or power supply, just a big receiver and computer-ish thing. I guess the rest is good old fashioned four-color magic.
