Hmm… I may need this later on. I don’t know when, but I better leave that out.
Ooh! I can use this somewhere…
etc…
Pretty sure the intention is more to distance oneself from depressing information about an event that has occurred, not about something which can be interfered upon.
I.E. Hearing/consuming constant news about election results when one vehemently opposes the result can very easily lead to anxiety (shown in the comic) and depression, both of which can be damaging to one’s mental and physical health.
I vote for who I think is the better person; who, 99% of the time is not a republican. (still waiting for that 1% to prove the stat)
Here’s to hoping a federal mandate will eventually come. Sooner, the better, though.
Depends on the state/area.
I know at least in Georgia (US), they still had those tissue paper thin bags at Target when I was there on business earlier in the year. They may have had reusable bags that you could buy didn’t notice any), yet I didn’t see a single person using one.
I say keep the time at either at ST or DST and let the different institutions/businesses decide their hours of operation. I’ll bet you after a year or two, 99% will settle on something and keep it throughout the year.
Well, how do we know he doesn’t use dialysis and have a colostomy? I mean he was nearly burnt to a crisp, so I imagine a few ‘appendages’ and orifices might have been charred beyond recognition.
Hell, do we know if he can even eat anything or is it all IV?
Better than the half-assed covers that Target plays year-round.
How about those stale tar-like hard candies.
He definitely got that garbage truck all gussied up quick…
Him going after the guy tracking his plane makes more sense each day.
That’s likely just lacrimal fluid (tears) shifting around in your eye socket. It also may mean too much pressure is being applied and can cause damage to your eye.
With Biden being connected to the democratic party and directly connected to Harris, any critical comments may have a chance of being flipped back towards them. The MAGA campaign is just that maliciously vindictive.
A comment like that gave Trump fodder to try to spin it like he’s the good guy, despite all of this being initiated by a comic at his rally.
Trump and his campaign have been trying to shift the blame off of them. First, with saying that the joke (just one joke?) didn’t reflect the view of the campaign. Then, Trump mentioned in an interview that the comic probably shouldn’t have been there, yet he was able to finish his set, uninterrupted. Now Trump took Biden’s (misspoken) comment and compared it with Clinton’s previous, calling the supporters “deplorable”.
I’m assuming it was a box truck with a roller door (like a garage door), and by locked, they might have meant latched. Forgetting to latch the door is a really easy mistake when in a rush or otherwise preoccupied and when the truck hits a bump, the door could easily roll up.
I mean, they are harmless and don’t produce any venom…
Should’ve used a bunny harvestman instead to the spider
*I can’t afford rent
Parkinson’s, actually. They corrected it to LBD during his autopsy.
Apparently him and his wife weren’t satisfied with the Parkinson’s diagnosis as he had some abnormal psychological issues, so they decided to have some neurology tests scheduled. He unfortunately took his life before the appointment, so he never knew the real diagnosis.
The thing with Robin is that, regardless of his mental health, he would’ve been the type of person to curse the choice of bringing someone back to be wasted on him.
While it is commonly believed he took his life due to a constant battle with depression, we do not know exactly what his resolve was, and bringing him back could be seen as hell in his eyes.
That’s called salaried employment.
