Ah, damn. Thanks for the heads up. I’ll delete.
She’s adorable!
I’ve always heard that until you’re master/GM level, it’s better just to play it out. Your opponent might blunder too, or accidentally stalemate you. At the very least, it’s good practice playing at a disadvantage. I know I’ve blundered huge leads myself, so who knows what’s going to happen?
There’s a psychological thing where we always assume that our opponents in games will never mess up, which makes it feel easy to give up the moment you make a mistake.
This is great. I have a new daily game to play. Thanks for sharing!
Great advice, but I can’t find the m8 square. What should I do next?
Twitter reminds me of the worst parts of the old “wild west” internet now. There’s still some good content, but it’s hidden among scams, skeezy porn ads, and some of the worst opinions you’ve ever read.
I feel pretty immune to that kind of stuff, but it’s a huge culture shock after browsing moderated social media.
Far Side is timeless
Haha, you’re too kind. I’m just trying to do my part to help grow this place!
Originally saw this posted by The Picard Maneuver. I can’t figure out how to tag him on Voyager.
Don’t worry, I’m here too!
Also, I’ve mentioned it elsewhere, but might as well say here too: Anything I post to Lemmy (including stuff I’ve made) is totally fair game to post/repost/share anywhere you’d like. I love seeing content spread around the fediverse.
Such a good video. I’ll listen to anything delivered in this old (transatlantic?) accent too.
Burning down some thatched-roof cottages in his honor today.
This is mind blowing
I’d welcome any beginner tips you have!
I have Linux installed on a raspberry pi, using “Pi OS”, which I understand to be some form of Debian? I’ve learned enough to comfortably SSH into it and navigate around my file system, as well as write some really basic Python programs for the pi using nano.
I’ve only been at it casually for a few weeks, so that’s about the extent of my knowledge.
Lol, sorry to disappoint, but no I don’t.
I also don’t use Linux. (Well, that’s not totally true now, because I’ve been learning to use for a hobby project lately).
