Election is six months away and I hear there’s a left lane in a potential 4 way race. That was plenty of time in NYC for Zohran with a far more entrenched political establishment
I know this news is all pretty new, but left orgs in Maine need to capitalize on a prime opportunity to show that they can take the left lane away from a guy with Nazi tattoos, even if they don’t actually win the election
There’s no left group up here that could meaningfully contest the Senate primary. Maybe the DSA chapter could but they’re super cagey about candidates after they tried the same thing in 2020 and it didn’t amount to much. Last I heard they were discussing endorsing Platner but I have to imagine that’s been tabled.

Yeah I’d hope that has been tabled. I wonder how much this will genuinely impact his candidacy all things considered
Unfortunate though. I get the being afraid of failure, but I feel like each failure is more of a radicalization event than a setback
