Season 2 was mid and felt very “straight white men” written for the lack of a better term. And not just even on a leftist aesthetic level. Especially the female characters are quite lacking. Like spending 1 season and three episodes with the mothma family in focus and then mon just vanishes basically until she remembers she has to care about ghorman now because plot and her domestic life is suddenly like not present any more.
Or Bix being turned into #girlfriend or the shitshow they did with cinta, or axing jessi, etc… And that leaves out the whole continuity issues with rogue one, which to be fair, I dont really care about.
Don’t even get me started on Wilmon/Saw and how his radicalization arc is nothing but a plot device to get him on Ghorman with nothing different, he’s not even addicted to huffing space gas :(
