I used to be a shitty drunk too and no one called me “excellent”.

The contradictions of this relationship vis-a-vis 9/11 are disturbing but not unexpected frankly. The simulations cumulative errors are getting more and more blatant.

Btw even if you wanted to be formal, the title granted by the position of Secretary of Defense is “The Honorable”, so this isn’t even the correct honorific. He couldn’t even glaze right.

Seeing how openly this current US regime seems to envy a lot of really normal things for a superpower to want to borrow from small rich states (residency by investment, sovereign investment vehicles, uncritical “crypto”/“AI” “investment”, etc). I can also see this as buttering him up, if he or someone from his side made a remark like “excllency huh? Sounds dignified”

Excellency is used pretty widely in the Middle East for English translations of a few honorifics

I don’t know if I’m making any sense at all or if I’m just tired. But I find that the way middle Eastern / western relations have evolved in the past seven or eight years very different from what came before

Edit a week later: bingo card jokes are stale but public executions? Seriously?
