did it surpass gun violence somehow? lol
If the prices, animal ethics, and environmental effects weren’t enough to push people towards plant-based diets, maybe more meat recalls will do the trick
(or I guess plant-based diets that exclude lettuce anyway)
Anyone with a brain knew stuff like this would happen if you gut the FDA.
It was already pretty bad before that
USDA != FDA. They’re totally separate all the way up to the Cabinet.
Of course they’ve both been gutted, though, so the gist of your point stands.
