It’s from a Ebay page that’s 404. I assume a bunch of people got very angry and complained so the site removed the listing. It’s also a reminder how canny the Pentagon got over the decades and how the American MSM turned to shit. Americans rarely if ever see photos of the people the US military killed
Yea they really cracked down on close up images of the victims of american wars during/after Vietnam, in later wars they really focus on the (visually) “cleaner” shots of bombs blowing up in populated areas or Call of Duty-esque thermal cameras showing glowing white figures being evaporated. The MSM doesn’t show you the victims on the ground, just the wide angle shock-and-awe “fireworks” that won’t make Joe Average start thinking a little about the actual consequences of military action. Instead they can hoot and hollar and cheer USA USA while watching lives torn apart
Plus in the aughts “embedding” was a masterful Pentagon PR move in Iran and Afghanistan. They controlled/censored the reporting and the footage. Shitty (but famous) journos and the MSM sold their souls and played along for the most important thing in American journalism: access.
