Congress torched after ‘useless’ vote to condemn issue that doesn’t exist: ‘Embarrassing’

Congress passed a symbolic resolution on Tuesday to condemn socialism — a move that saw eight Democrats cross the aisle to back the GOP on the measure.

The vote, which has no actual effect on public policy, was swiftly mocked by observers on social media.

“Voting to condemn an economic system that doesn’t exist in our country, to protect the one which we live under that exploits the working class to benefit the obscenely wealthy,” wrote Melanie D’Arrigo, executive director of Campaign for New York Health. “This was Congress’ priority as 60% of Americans struggle to afford food, housing and healthcare. Embarrassing.”

We can “condemn” them all we want, if no one does anything that condemnation of congress means diddlysquat.

There should be much more aggressive and loud in person condemning.

Make it impossible for them to ignore the anger of the disenfranchised masses.

That headline is a crime against the English language and an insult to anyone who reads it. Rawstory is a tabloid rag. The only difference between it and the Washington Examiner is that rawstory panders to idiots on the left.
