I don’t know where on earth you are getting that number for Legolas from. His age is never mentioned anywhere in Tolkien’s writing. Most estimates are closer to 500.
I was going to say… I don’t think we actually know how old Legolas is. Galadriel is something like 8,000+ years old though so it’s not that far fetched.

Granted this is the movies, but wasn’t Legolas at the Last Alliance where Isildur cut the ring of Sauron?

He was born in mirkwood later.
