To be fair it’s probably because they got particularly upset by it while filling (or trying to fill) their car
and they got plenty of time in the queue

Huh. She says that she’s driving a diesel car. What I’ve read so far suggested that, unlike with gasoline, there was still enough diesel available for domestic use. Capacity had been reduced, but it was still a matter of not being able to export as much.
EDIT: She also says that she went through a five hour queue to get it, so either they’re now short of diesel, or the Russian government hasn’t segregated diesel and gasoline queues yet.
