Mrs Sidhu Investigates - fun mini series, wish it had more episodes!
One of the Boys (2023) aka En af drengene - another mini series, it was great
Cannes Confidential - I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. It was really fun, but I’m glad it didn’t have a season 2 because I preferred Camille and Léa to Camille and Harry
Irish Blood (2025) - just watched the first episode but I’m already all in
Harry Wild - they are doing something a bit different this season, I hope it’s as great as the other seasonsOn episode 3 of Legion. Enjoying it so far. Recommended.
Tried watching Devs. Watched the first episode, not sure I’ll watch the second.
A few episodes left of Californication, and You’re the Worst. Recommended, but they’re not for everyone.
I’m two episodes into Peacemaker. It’s okay. I realized after starting it, that I tried to watch it back when, but stopped. I probably won’t watch much more of it.
Thinking about trying to pick up Widow’s Bay again. It’s not really my cup of tea, but I sort of liked it, it’s well-made, at least.
I rewatched the first two episodes of Lexx, this will be my third time watching. Recommended.
Eternaut, Lazarus Project, and Utopia are on deck. Still holding off watching the second season of Fallout, because I know I’ll like it and I want to save it for dessert.
Legion is great! Very trippy show, especially fun to watch while under the influence of something.
I remember Devs sorta changing the direction you’d expect the show to go after the first episode. If you like philosophical shows that make you think a bit deeper than your average TV show you might give it an episode or two more before calling it quits. I really enjoyed that show, but I like almost everything Alex Garland creates!
I’m not huge into superhero shows/movies, but Peacemaker is by far my favorite of the genre. It helps to have watched The Suicide Squad first. The one that came out in 2021 directed by James Gunn, not the 2016 flop with Will Smith.
And yes, Fallout is superb! Best video game adaptation to date in my book! Great show even for people who have never played the games.
How do you watch so many things at once? I forget the characters names by the end of the movie
Rewatching The Wire, cant recommend enough really
Currently watching The Expanse and Dragon Ball Super, and would highly recommend both, for very different reasons.
The Expanse gives a very believable picture of a local-space-faring humanity a few hundred years in the future. We’ve only just started season 2, but the atmosphere and setting have been amazing so far, and the plot has been gripping enough. Highly recommended.
Dragon Ball Super is a thoroughly entertaining successor to Dragon Ball Z so far. The localization team is clearly very aware of people’s impressions of the series, and leans into them strongly, which is both hilarious and appropriate for the series somehow. Feels like it’s halfway between regular Dragon Ball Z and DBZ Abridged, and it’s been a ton of fun to watch so far (only ten or so episodes in). It also features a lot of callbacks to the original Dragon Ball, with lots of fan service for longtime series fans. Highly recommended to anyone who enjoyed DBZ.
Widows bay, Hacks
Sugar, season 2.
Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed.
Silo, season 3. Haven’t watched it yet, since season 3 doesn’t get released until tomorrow (July 3rd), but I will be!
I’m watching Happy Valley on ARTE.
Spoiler alert: It’s not happy.
discovered Ruri Rocks
an anime about geology. it’s really good, ever wondered how Bismuth looks like an alien structure?
I just started watching the Avatar live action show on Netflix. Digging it so far.
