Today’s game is Lost in Vivo, I wanted to take a break from all the Star Wars so i figured this would be a great game to try out. I saw a video online that was a few hours long talking about it, so i wanted to try it out. Coming fresh off another Horror Game this is an interesting game to go to.

I will admit as of now i’m a bit lost. Not being impatient, but from what I understand the guy lost his dog and went in after it and that’s kind of the gist i got. I don’t know if there’s something i missed earlier but i’m going to assume its going to reveal itself later.

The game though? It has some awesome scares. Maybe 40 Minutes in and there’s only been 2 so far, which i really appreciate. I was a little anxious it was gonna be a Jumpscare heavy game, which, no shade, but isn’t really my thing.

you know what was really fucking cool though? The game had a working escalator. Legit love escalators so this immediately won points from me. So fucking cool. I feel like i don’t see this enough in games.

Anyways, expect to see this interspersed between other games. I also played Halo today, and love it as i do i really want to avoid using that as a screenshot after i’ve collected stats of which games feature the most and seeing that it’s really high up there, so i might use this for a bit to feature for screenshots.

KIRA’s a great dev. Lost in Vivo is like a weird first person Silent Hill kinda game, and they’d go on to make the excellent Lunacid a few years later.

I fucking love Lunacid, and have been searching for more games like it.

So far I’ve found Hark the Ghoul which isn’t released yet but has a demo, Queen’s Domain which is in the same boat, and FlyKnight which is only a couple hours long.

I just think there’s something cool about them. I’ve had a weird fascination with them since I was a kid. I think it’s something about watching the steps circle up and then vanish back in
