Similar to Alan Wake? I really liked Silent Hill 2, and f (though that had some gameplay issues I feel like towards the end). If you want more Remedy I’d highly suggest Control. I’d say it’s their second franchise close to being like Alan Wake but it’s very Metroid-vania like game. Sort of like X-Files meets SCP.
Outside of games similar to Alan Wake? That’s a bit harder, but I really liked One Shot, it’s the complete opposite direction and a quick play but it caught me in a way I didn’t expect it too. Fallout New Vegas was really good too but I feel like it’s a little weak to start. Project Zomboid is fun to play, especially if you have friends but it has some major single player offerings too. If you like shooters then Halo is one id really suggest(assuming you haven’t played it). It’s a little slower than something like CoD, but it’s still fun (imo). I haven’t played it yet either but I’ve picked up Ghost of Tsushima which I really enjoyed and want to play again soon. There’s also Uncharted which is one of my favorite franchises. Only 4 is available on PC, but if you have the PC power you can emulate them.
Those are the ones I can name off the top of my head. I’m sure if I dug around enough I can think of more but those are some general suggestions from me
