I wouldn’t mind the limit so much if we had perpetual access to the base stance. I think having that + two more stances of our choosing would have been a lot better. Though now that I say it at that point just give access to 3 stances of our choosing

I’ll always resolve to 100% a game, and then like right after the final boss I go “well… it won’t hurt to start another game while I do the side content”. I never do the side content.

I was telling my friend that i hope they round it out with a 3rd, partly because i would like one more, and partly because it’s star wars and at this point it feels weird it’s not a trilogy

It really is, it has some issues graphically (i had this weird bug today for example where the edge of my screen was just glowing and it had some ghosting) but the photomode really pulls things together in a gorgeous way

Subnautica making the bases always be a safe place is heavily appreciated. It definitely feels good to have a place to just stop and rest

I just think there’s something cool about them. I’ve had a weird fascination with them since I was a kid. I think it’s something about watching the steps circle up and then vanish back in

There’s definitely balance and nuance to it. So many of my favorite games have been made better for the patches. It’s just a shame it’s also used in poor ways

I love bounty quests, so getting her quest to go through is fun. I might just settle in for an evening and try to get them all.

And I hear ya. There’s some bad things about the hobby for sure right now, but I’ve found as long as I approach things with a level head and try to remain optimistic I can find something to enjoy about it, even if that does sound really fucking corny.

And on the bright side if the worst were to happen I always have older games to go back too. I’m still pretty young and I know for a fact there’s tons of old stuff I have never seen before

Switching from Bazzite to CachyOS helped my rig quite a bit from what I remember, that may just be me generalizing in my memory though. Whatever ends up happening I wish you luck and hope you’re able to fix it though!

PS3. It’s probably wholly nostalgia but it was where I grew up playing games, even though the PS4 was well into its heyday by the time I got mine. So many games on there that I adore

I ended up forcing myself to play BoTW again that way. It was an interesting perspective. It made it feel more like a heroic epic

I did end up preferring the Dual Wielding style, but for most of my game so far I’ve stuck to the ones from the first 2

The only one I found myself really caring about in the first one was the Second Sister. The rest were all eh. I only really remember some of them because I struggled with a few of the boss fights for them

CachyOS. I’m using the latest version of Proton GE-10. All AMD rig with 7600 XT 16 GB and 32 GB of RAM.

How much RAM do you have? I heard there were memory leak problems, but the way everyone talks it sounds like they aren’t an issue on Linux. I’m wondering if I was mistaken and I just have enough RAM to outlast it or something

I have an all AMD Linux rig and it sounds like to me I dodged a bullet. I’m relieved about that.

And yeah, I think you put how I feel into words far better with the quick travel. It feels far more cohesive and meaningful, like in a way you were more in tune with Cal and experiencing the trip too

Ironically this is the first game I don’t have an issue with the EA Launcher. I don’t know if it’s proton GE or somehow someway EA fixed an issue (Probably proton GE) but it actually closes when I tell it too

When fighting him it made me stop and go “I really want to go back and play KoTOR”. It might be a future stop I make.

Also him missing an arm is fucking bad ass. I really hope they don’t give him a prosthetic or anything because the lack of symmetry in his design makes it so much more memorable. Plus coming off of Fallen Order I feel like he pulls off the “Fallen Jedi” thing better than what’s-his-face working with Merrin
