I just stumbled upon this app (though never tried it). It says “The Buy European app” is particularly useful when you’re shopping in supermarkets or retail stores.

Does anyone know this?

Wouldn’t any reasonable person prefer the web app version anyways? Web apps are much better for privacy and security, since they run everything in a very sandboxed way.

I used it at the start in the supermarket. Now I kind of know the brands and where they are from so have not used it since 6 months.

But I found it quite useful back then.

It’s quite nice for the things which it has in its database. But I found adding new things in the database bit annoying because of the requirements of info that I usually don’t know and and am too lazy to search for. Also, to big extent not usable for me because it works only online but I usually don’t have internet access at shops.
