Hexbear.net is pretty chill most of the time! The News megathread is always more sobering, but the culture is goofy and fun.
I think the ADHD meme instance is pretty chill.
I also like the Danish feddit, but we all speak Danish, so eh. But that is probably the most wholesome place in this whole lemmy/feddit thing.
Maybe the dad joke group too, but that’s not really a place for chatting xD more like a place you go to punish yourself 😆

Many apps have an option to filter on keywords for things you don’t want in your feed. It is quite effective. It’s a good start.

Liminalspace is quite peaceful
little wins and small victories is very low volume, but wonderful to see pop up in your feed.
