    Wait what? 1) they are trying to eliminate cash and making bills larger than the existing $100 is counterproductive for that. It’s why they got rid of the $500 and larger bills decades ago. The 500 euro bill was discontinued a few years ago for similar reasons, though the 200 euro bill still is being produced, and you can use the 500’s if you have them.

    And 2) usual pattern in the US is that the next one after $100 would be $200, then $500. But, I don’t think there has been a $200 before.
