Federal investigators have issued subpoenas to political streamer Hasan Piker and activist Susan Medea Benjamin amid an inquiry into alleged violations of US sanctions related to Cuba’s government.
This is intended to deplatform him in order to suppress left side of centre political voices
Isn’t that the same guy who had the controversy about using shock collar on his dog? And more recently a meltdown over gamers wanting to be fathers after playing Pragmata? Maybe he should be deplatformed if that’s the reputation he gives the “left side of centre”.
Just in case this isn’t trolling, the shock collar thing was a complete hoax. He doesn’t own a shock collar. He literally showed the collar on stream. The Pragmata thing was him responding to incels using the game to push narratives that the game is going to “save white birthrates”. When he says “capital G Gamers” he’s not referring to just anyone who plays video games, he’s specifically talking about the same folks who think any minority representation in games as being “woke mindvirus” and also who immediately sexualized the child character in the game. In both cases it’s mostly Destiny (pedophile/sexpest) fans and other folks who already hate Hasan pushing an agenda.
With the Pragmata thing, that sure didn’t sound like that from his own words. Sounded more like farming engagement through ragebait. Which is typical for streamers, but also not very left wing.
I mean you can take it whatever way it makes sense to you; it’s definitely not a take that’s easy to understand his POV without more context but if you watch enough of his stream you start to get what he’s actually taking about. Plus even if not, the dude streams 8 hours a day almost everyday; there’s going to occasionally be some boneheaded takes.
I would rather watch a streamer that doesn’t call majority of his audience hopeless incels in any context, but I guess we can agree to disagree
No matter who you watch, you will still be someone who will never have even a quarter of what the average baby boomer had at your age, like 7+ children, a home at 19 years old, economic stability, or at least a happy family of four without a college degree.
You fell for the bullshit they say about Hasan. You are not smart enough to opine on anything. You are either a Zionist, a blue MAGA who still thinks the USA is redeemable (American Exceptionalism / Imperialist), you hate China with the same passion as Trump and you still call yourself a democrat, or simply a fool who says things like “I would rather watch a different streamer” when you have yourself never watched Hasan’s stream. You are already opining about who he is, what should people do regarding him, trying to imply nobody should watch him because he “calls his audience hopeless incels” when he literally does not do that, no one ever said he did that either. Right wing MAGA morons are not his audience. You suck. It’s always the same type of people. Same patterns.
You are either a MAGA or a Jeffrey Class supporter if you still blindly attack or hate Hasan. Especially if you always attack his persona, not his ideals. It’s so obvious, whenever people focus on the dog or some niche drama, what they are truly about.
