The post is circumstantial and immediate (“the dong is shrinking”), so it speaks to a ongoing condition. Further, the fact that it’s Asian is not a core part of the joke, so it doesn’t play into negative stereotypes. If the currency belonged to Uzbekistan, it’d be the same amount funny.
My comment was saying that the only people who would make the joke you sought to be “inb4” are bigots that the community would have already downvoted and moved on from. If you don’t know what “preempt” means, you can search an online dictionary.
You coming into the comments to dribble out not even the stereotype, but a lazyreference to a tired stereotype about Asians, is a worse form of the post. I was giving you the benefit of the doubt while also seeding you an ‘out’ from the direct interpretation that your comments reeks of “I’m too lazy to even commit to my negative stereotypes”.
Sorry Plato, it’s literally a joke post about an asian currency, the dong, shrinking, what is there to preempetuate and philosophize?

I’m no longer inclined to do that.
