We have a ground hog living in our shed!
This post is for casual conversation if you don’t feel like making a post of your own.
🤩
The groundhogs that spend time in our yard are collectively named Al. We love them. We don’t care that they have made it impossible to grow peas, my all time favorite garden vegetables, because we just want them to have delicious food too.
About to head to a stag party and I am excited and a bit overwhelmed, I just hope I can get through it.
Lost our little mouse this morning. :(
Going to bury him next to my rose bush with some extra snacks and a bell.
I’m so sorry for your loss ☹️ rodents are so sweet but don’t live nearly long enough. Do you have a favorite memory of him, if you’d like to share?
He was a house mouse. He lived in our attic this winter. We had a few run ins with him and our cats. We got humane traps, set them out and almost immediately caught him.
He was skittish at first, but Holy crap did he love corn on the cob! We had some leftover and offered him some. He dragged them into his nest. XD
Rest in peace, House. You will be missed.
planning to stream on twitch tomorrow morning until around 3-4pm PDT, i need some luck ahead of time
Got sent home early from work because I caught the bug going around the office.
Started fine when I clocked in, then over the course of like 2 hours deteriorated rapidly, like so:
-
Told myself it was allergies and dehydration, then downed my water. Didn’t help.
-
Felt queasy, put my headphones on. Didn’t help.
-
Told myself it was psychosomatic and “chose” not to be sick. I bet you can see where I’m headed with this 😆
-
Around 9 boss came over and checked on me, and very gently told me to go home. “You have 3 facial expressions and this is the one that concerns me.” Which is fair lmao
So my weekend has both started early and gone sideways as all my plans are now moot. At least I’ll get extra cuddle time with my cats while I try to fight off this flu-y virus thing. 😄
