Honestly it wouldve been so much better had they kept the original reveal from the comic. What was the point of developing BN’s character, then having Homelander kill him, casting another one, and then killing him too by way of the Deep? Its so fucking asinine, my god. Speaking of of that character. The Boys might be one of the most ableist shows on tv. Other shows might deny disabled characters their agency or attribute maliciousness to mental illness, but i don’t think I’ve ever seen another ahow directly show that disability, any disability, directly makes you evil. If you are disabled in The Boys, you are evil. You will choose to hurt others, and the heroes are right to oppose you.
Their one possible counter example, kimiko, was fucking cured off screen.
