    That stuff is crazy. Don’t cut it. Don’t disturb it. It needs every stalk injected with glyphosate directly, during its growing season. Seal the waste in bags and incinerate it in a CLOSED environment.

    The seeds float and waft. They love swamps and creeks.

            Not with knotweed. It can manifest above ground growth in a few different ways, it can form a moss like layer.

            Pulling the shoots also leaves chunks of root in the ground, which will start new plants.

            And good luck eating enough once it spreads.

            You can control it if you catch it early by covering it with black tarp, but if you miss a bit, you wasted all the effort.

            Knotweed remediation is hard.

              It grows all over near me, but i haven’t tried to eat any because I think some agency might be poisoning it. It was growing fine, and then all the leaves started to die.

                Yeah, the usual way is glyphosate injection during the active growth phase. Glyphosate won’t kill you but I still wouldn’t want to consume it.
