A new Washington Post–ABC News–Ipsos poll shows most Americans disapprove of Trump, with the Iran war and rising costs driving voter dissatisfaction

US President Donald Trump’s disapproval rating has reached a new high of 62%, according to the latest Washington Post–ABC News–Ipsos poll.

Opposition to the Iran war is a key factor in Trump’s declining popularity, with 66% disapproving of his handling of the conflict. His weakest ratings are on the economy, with 76% disapproving on the cost of living, 72% on inflation and 65% overall.

    I imagine there has to be a plateau around 50% where people are entrenched one way or another, and then a tipping point where enough people have/ want to jump on the hate bandwagon and it jumps exponentially. I’m excited to see if that hypothesis is correct (probably not).
