different platforms display flag emojis differently, some show the HTS flag for syria and some the old one. I checked the profile and she just has the Iranian flag emoji, apparently twitter changed to the monarchist flag

I like when a post appeals to my inner-4-year-old. I too used to ride around my grandparents’ suburb on a tricycle pretending I’m GI Joe fighting all of the bad guys. It somewhat tickles my inner 6 year-old that found Pokemon and started gambling on dogfighting based on racial categories, but this really speaks to an earlier stage of development where I didn’t yet understand that other people still existed when they left the room.
