I honestly doubt, that it would take that long. Nukes can end a war pretty quickly.
Nukes can fast-forward the world into a late-war environment in a couple of hours. But it’s not actually known if they can end a war.
Unless you are talking about those “Earth’s crust destroying” nukes. But no country has actually built those.
