I tried another way of creating false color painting. But now that I look at it I think it might be creepy. Did I enter the uncanny valley?

    Subtly. Like it’s just off enough (teeth/smile, eyes) but also that makes it somehow more unsettling.

    Some uncanny valley stuff going on if that was the idea.

      No it was accidental. I didn’t see it until I went to name the piece and thought “what the hell”…

        well, maybe don’t tell people that. call it a “happy” little accident. I do like it, it’s evocative.

        But I do think it’s mostly just about the proportions. the smile is a bit too big, a bit too wide, and the eyes are a bit too… something else…
