A deep truth about people’s attraction to AI is that their bourgeois consciousness gives them a sort of allergy to work. They do not value anything of quality and accuracy and effort, they just want something done for them that superficially looks okay.

They want to just push a button and have something complete delivered instantly. But at some point, they will be so dopamine-saturated that even that won’t be enough.
