        The street is human scale and the power lines aren’t all buried in the extremely earthquake prone ground, how awful

      I’m guessing Japanese has a term for the process by which small towns and exurbs got absorbed into Tokyo, the word roughly translates to gentrify, but it doesn’t quite work.
