although i understand this is a problem, none of the people who were in a position to make an executive decision that would’ve changed this outcome either understand it or care, and none of the people who could have helped us force those aristocratic parasites to change the outcome understood or cared either–and once they start, it’ll be too late. we’re going to suffer. I don’t want billions to die, but this IS probably what’s going to happen. The majority of humanity will suffer for the sins of the few, and punish us all for our inability to get our shit together and stop them ourselves.
