Some people actually studied class, not of Marx’s theory, but of the actual-classes-that-exist…

    https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/class-paul-fussell/1111206189?ean=9780671792251

That’s the basis understanding, for North America’s class-system.

It turns out that the Financial-class is a thing, above Upper-Middle Class…

it turns out that there is an entire Academic Class System, an entire Medical Class System, a Gov’t Class System, etc…

    The fundamental-class-system is bedrock,

but within the Middle Class, there is a class-system that others aren’t in.

Within the upper-class, there is a class-system that the others aren’t in.

    Same with working-class,

    same with underclass.

Pretending that they aren’t real, that they don’t control & confine lives within their systems, when one hasn’t even read Fussell’s work, let-alone spent a few years seeing with knowledge-boosted eyes, … is itself a kind of “class” behavior, though…

    The class of ideology-already-knows-therefore-evidence-can’t-contradict.

Sorry to be blunt, but people can do better than to hold to “nothing exists unless I already know about it” paradigm.

Please consider understanding Fussell’s book. He’s written a number of significant books…

That one is sooo significant, that Steven Pinker mentioned its influence in one of his.

Pinker’s upper-middle-class, within the academic-class system, & utterly blind to how economic-warfare is an actual thing.

    His privilege blinds him.
