it turns out that there is an entire Academic Class System, an entire Medical Class System, a Gov’t Class System, etc…
The fundamental-class-system is bedrock,
but within the Middle Class, there is a class-system that others aren’t in.
Within the upper-class, there is a class-system that the others aren’t in.
Same with working-class,
same with underclass.
Pretending that they aren’t real, that they don’t control & confine lives within their systems, when one hasn’t even read Fussell’s work, let-alone spent a few years seeing with knowledge-boosted eyes, … is itself a kind of “class” behavior, though…
The class of ideology-already-knows-therefore-evidence-can’t-contradict.
Sorry to be blunt, but people can do better than to hold to “nothing exists unless I already know about it” paradigm.
