Our Rehab Clinic staff performs a thorough exam when we admit a bird. This burrowing owl had its eyes, wings, and legs checked. Our staff also took an x-ray to check for any damage to bones and internal organs.

That X-ray is trippy. Looks like a cross between praying mantis, human and alien.
I can never decide which looks weirder: them getting gassed with their head in the giant funnel and taped to the table, or the image of what freaky animal is under all those feather!
I still get a kick outta that costume 😆
