Brits are seething as a new poll reveals that no political party is believed to treat the cost-of-living crisis as a top priority, leaving millions struggling with soaring bills
*Most Brits don’t rank Cost of Living as one of the top 1-3 priorities of any of the top political parties.
But I mean, sure? The other choices include Economy, Tax, Environment, Health, Poverty, Housing, Human rights, Crime, Pensions, Education. It’s not like these things aren’t extremely to moreso important, as well as hugely overlapping. Yeah the political parties largely suck, but this story feels pretty manufactured.
To put in perspective - "Brits think NO political party cares about their top concern - <x> " would be a headline that applies to every fucking listed topic except Environment (Greens) and Immigration (Reform). Ask people to pick 1-3 out of a huge list of overlapping topics, and it’ll be very rare you ever get one option >50% chosen.
The headline sounds interesting, but is bordering on a statistical inevitability.
