Fucking great game, the difficulty needs some serious demystifying… It was not nearly as tough as I expected. That said, this felt sorta like a trial run…

      Fuck yeah, it was amazing, one of my favourite fighst of the game and a great addition to the big arm TM souls pantheon. It felt more like regular soulsborne than the other bosses.

        Very fair. Demon was one of my favorite fights. Did you also get got by the ape like I did? It definitely caught me by partial surprise, but the skeletons in DS3 trained me to watch my souls go up for certainty.

          The ape was one of the hardest fights in any From Software game for me. I couldn’t even tell you why that fight has never clicked for me. It’s cursed.

          I sort of anticipated a phase two based off of his damage output, I thought, for a guy this size this certainly can’t be it. So i took note of the exp counter after it went down… And lo and behold, It didn’t move XD (after playing Lies of P I’ve also developed an incessant suspicion for multiple boss health bars )

          So of course they threw in the SHINOBI EXECUTION with obvious malicious intent!

          Can’t be mad tho, he’s also one of my favourites. But the rematch? I could take or leave tbh.
