No there aren’t. Where are you basing that claim on, besides christian pastors regurgitating that line over and over? No, religion does not exist to keep the psychopaths in check, religion exists as a tool for psychopaths to control the masses.
Even if what you said is true (and to be clear: its not) then still, these fairytales to keep the psychopaths in check have caused countless millions of deaths in the history of humanity, not to mention the suffering, torture, all in the name of made up god #587234.
