    Make one simple change to capitalism: put in. A constitutional hard cap on personal wealth. Anything income or gift or whatever over 1 million goes 100% to taxes

    Nobody has some inherent right to be rich or powerful. Nobody got extremely rich by themselves or through hard work, it's just sheer fucking luck and standing on the backs of others

    Nobody should have to be poor either

    So without changing and overhauling the entire world, just set a hard cap on personal wealth.

    May e also company sizes. Any networth over 1 billion? 100% to tax. Companies shouldn't be able to have over, say 1000 employees either.

    I don't want a trillion dollar company with 200.000 employees. Give me 10.000 companies worth 100 million dollar companies that each employ a hundred or so workers.

    Two simple rules that would change the world. Nobody would be sicher more powerful than anyone else.

    All it requires is that everyone in the world says ENOUGH. Enough with the abuses from the rich and powerful

    Once trump is gone (and he will be, soon enough) can we please:

    a) Put a boat load of restrictions on religions. Churches and religions pay taxes, period. They can't break any human rights, they can't have any of their materials in any school, or even be talked about, unless if to teach about the horrors and plain stupidity of religions.

    b) place a hard cap on personal wealth. Create a load more tax brackets that also keep personal wealth into account and anything over a million goes 100% to taxes. No. More. Millionaires. The world would be such a better place. Governments would get boat loads of money for projects, free healthcare, free education, free public transport, universal basic income....

    I'm not really into celebrity worshipping but the little I know of her, she only did a jeans commercial that started all this. I doubt that the commercial was her idea, this was a marketing agency that came up with the idea, the concept, the things that should be said and she was hired as an actress to say it.

    I've seen quite a few actors say or do things in commercials that they normally wouldn't do or say themselves

    In not trying to defend her, I'm no fan, I just think (unless there is way more that I'm not aware of) that the hatred towards her is a little bit over the top

    Even if she is trans (she's not) who fucking cares? It's nine none of your goddamn business, and again, who cares, and why care? If she's trans, well good on her because she looks great, but who caaaaaarres?

    And even if you'd care at all, why care so much to spend time on it at all?

    I can only imagine that secretly these guys hope she's trans because secretly they're gay but two guys kissing is yucky to them, so a beautiful girl with a penis would be awesome for them.

    That's literally the only way that this nonsense makes any sense to me

    You will always need police, because there will always be misbehaving elements in society. Be it due to mental illness or plain psychopaths, doesn't really matter, you need a trained group of people designated to be the ones to keep society nice. Let's call them "police"

    From the mad ramblings of what you wrote, it sounded like the description of police and a judge / justice system only much, much worse. You want random untrained idiots to decide on justice matters? I'm sorry no.

    I want a judge who has been trained and learned how to be ethical and impartial. I want police that has been trained, especially in de-escalation, who have been checked for not being psychopaths.

    There is nothing wrong with the basics of current police systems (not you US, you're fucked up) we just need more focus on police being trained better (or, in case of the US, trained at all), being monitored better by independent groups to ensure abuses stay at a minimum.

    We need changes like limiting net worth. If we limit net worth to (just an example) 1 million dollar and any income after that goes 100% to taxes, we don't need to change anything else. Nobody can be super rich anymore, nobody can have crazy bad influence anymore, we'd literally be all the same.

    Governments get huge tax incomes that can be used for free healthcare, free education, universal basic income, even. It's a simple single change that will have the most impact.

  • In a direct confrontation, the US would walk over them as if they aren't there. That's why you don't do that, you apply guerilla tactics. That's why a bunch of basically goat herders in Afghanistan, of all places, managed to beat the Russians and the Americans.

    Let there be no doubt, the US got its ass handed there, and Afghanistan is a good part of the reasons why the USSR folded.

    I assume the Danish generals know this and likely have prepared something similar, but now with highly trained and well equipped soldiers.

    I think an invasion of Greenland would finish the US, especially since the Danes have a lot of experience in how to fight winter conditions while the US not so much.

    I think something similar applies as well in, for example, Mexico. There are boat loads of highly (US military) trained criminals over there with a lot of experience in sending messages. Once the hundredth soldier was found dangling from a bridge, or cut up in a salad, it might become hard to explain to Maga base why really is worth it.
