Incredibly well said, and nice to see you have a decent amount of upvotes. It’s been great to see Hexbear’s position on China develop over the last few years into a more rigorous socialist one that is more open to criticism of the PRC. I remember a time when even the most mild criticism was an absolute non-starter on here.
Hexbear probably won’t be able to create enough of a superstructure to change the material conditions we live in, so as much as we can clap ourselves it is important to remember that we’re all influenced by our surrounding conditions, there are a lot of things I simply don’t say because it’s not the time and place. Lying isn’t a bad thing, it’s about how you use it.
It’s easy to start taking victories for granted and eventually fall into dogmatism, once you stop questioning why things changed.
