Just learned this from the cecilily video, but in the Japanese script, a lot of the pokemon in pokopia apparently use lots of dialects to give each of them characterization. The most famous example I can think of is that bulbasaur sounds like a schoolgirl/gyaru, which essentially makes them sound like they have a valley girl accent. Kyogre is supposed to sound like a grandpa, but I guess localization turned said grandpa dialect into a cowboy one instead
