I personally have them open because maybe I have a google search for a movie or anime I want to remember, but I’ve now switched that habit to noting down the name of the movie in my phone’s note; it’s helped me cut down on the tabs.

I also have tabs for manga currently open, but I’m going to start a new notes page in my phone for manga.

I also HAD pages open for Stellaris videos, but they’re like two hours old so the content is already outdated and the game plays entirely differently now so I closed them.

I also have pages open for directors whose comedic movies or shows I’m curious to look up.

I also have pages open that talk about some rogue-like games so I can see if there’s any among them I want (the pages are maybe a year old now and I still haven’t gotten around to it).

There’s also one tab that mentions several game dev journal videos available for people to watch.

I keep trying to find ways to cut down on my tabs but I still have so many open. What’s on your tabs?

face the wall, you bring shame to your whole family

i only have tabs open that i’m actively using. Currently 1 for hexbear, 1 for the gam TR-49 which I have running, and 1 for WPS because I wanted to find a way to get my printer online without having to constantly go back and type the password using 2 buttons which takes for goddamned ever and only works sometimes.

I have no idea how some of you folks manage it; don’t you ever open a youtube video, think to yourself ‘I’m not in the mood RIGHT NOW, but maybe later?’

I also recall when I was working on my novel I had like 10-15 pages open regarding research on ancient Ireland and Irish mythology (ON TOP of the many, many other pages), and unfortunately when I finally got too lazy to keep working on the novel and put it down, I kept those tabs open for…what, years? At some point I had to accept I wasn’t going to use them again and just had to close them.

absolutely, i use the YouTube playlist feature for stuff like that, save to the play later playlist which i will never go back to and watch ever.

anything else that i think i might ever revisit gets a bookmark. if there is a site that i will revisit often it gets a bookmark with a keyword
