I’m going for the feeling of loneliness while lost and vulnerable. What emotion does this piece evoke in you?

There is a place in my life where I experience the physical sensation from the image with some frequency. Alone, naked and buffeted by wind. This is connected with feelings of contentedness and peace.
The image however seems to suggest that the character is unhappy. She is hiding behind her hair and curled up in a protective pose.
The association and the observation of the character are in conflict for me.
That’s fascinating. I’m curious what about that sensation it’s contenting to you if you don’t mind me asking.
It’s the context. The place is a small island with a sauna. I come out from there to cool off and look at the sea, the cold evening breeze feels excellent. When I’m there, I don’t need to think about anything other than my next meal (and perhaps, whether I can get out or not, as it is weather-dependent) so the contentedness comes from simplicity.
Oh that sounds absolutely wonderful! The thought takes me to my happy place.
