i was in that thread yesterday. it was likely taken down due to the comments getting out of hand.
and they absolutely were getting out of hand, imho.
Isn’t that what locking is for?
the subject matter is also likely not appropriate for that particular instance.
Correct: it’s a shitlib instance populated by spiritual “le epic bacon” redditors.
They should’ve locked the post.
World would rather nuke the post than do that. There’s even times in the log they mark removals as don’t want to deal with reports instead of just locking them
