the flush never fails, in fact there is no water flush
never clogs or overflows
no pipes to freeze or bust or corrode
no backsplash to hit you in the taint
doesn’t stink
does not add to sewage load or require any treatment
-gives you fertilizer after 6 months of decomposing
you get to flex on libs who think they’re saving water with a half flush or a “water saver” toilet
can be built/installed cheaply on almost any kind of land, as opposed to more expensive municipal plumbing connections or septic leach fields which are not viable on inclined and/or clay-heavy soils (most of this guy’s “dealbreakers” are conditions that my org’s methods could handle pretty easily)
I’ve watched enough homesteader YouTube vids ro know that a composting loo ain’t for me
Don’t knock it til you try it.
