It’s about telling India’s banks that if they are used to letting Russia get around sanctions, they will be sanctioned themselves. The same thing was told to the Chinese banks.
Great idea, that will greatly speed the dedollarisation and establishing of alternative financial systems.

No. What the West done over the last 500 years from imperialism, colonialism and genocides is unmatched in human history. The world is heading towards multipolarity where there won’t be any single power that will dominate it anyways. It is telling though you think the rest of the world will be as bad as your civilization has been. People do see others with their own eyes.
This is white supremacy and colonialism with extra steps, and not many extra steps either.
The US doesn’t realize the days of dictating terms to the rest of the world is over. All retaliating against India would do is weaken USD.
