but it appears they’ll keep making the prologue? the rebadged gm to honda makes sense (gm and honda have a history of collabs) - but as an acura it never really added up to me.

also fuck honda make a supercar electric nsx already for fucks sake. even use the 1990s body form just do it

    Hey Elon,

Who would have guessed that alienating your core demographic would be bad for business?

    Go to hell,

    Core Demographic

yeah. even if he weren’t a fascist prick, honda’s (and in this case, GM) has been making cars forever, there’s not going to be any disappearing handles bullshit or other things that will turn the car into an inescapable oven.

edit: aw someone doesn’t like me calling musko-the-clown-o a fascist prick… it made them sad boohooo.

      good.

EVs are functionally dead in the US. Sales were already shit and now the credit is over. The only EVs that will still sell are luxury vehicles.

And how many of these sales here were from dealerships trying to extend how long they can offer the $7500 discount.

That isn’t completely true. Some of the EV prices will lower without the federal rebate (like BMW just did). A bunch of states still have their own rebates/credits, and CO just said they’ll increase theirs.

It’ll last a quarter, maybe two, maybe in a few states. But overall it’s not sustainable. Maybe the 70k+ EVs do a bit better as the discount was already smaller.
