first of all this entire tone they’re taking as if they were “proven right” when no liberal has ever been correct about anything is just annoying as hell. they wonder why people fuckin hate their hall monitor asses.
but secondly and more importantly, its THEIR fault we have fascism “now”. im not a sanders simp but where would we be today had the DNC not stolen the election from this man not once, BUT TWICE, when he was the only one with any shot at beating trump? but that’s everybody who voted for him’s fault and not the fault of the DNC who kneecapped him for brandon and hillary. they’re yelling at powerless people rather than those in power, while they think those in power who got us here are going to save us from all this. i just cant stand it. Liberals believe that their values are objectively correct, or to be more precise, they seem to believe that they don’t hold values at all, that all of their political beliefs are extremely straightforward and indisputable conclusions based solely on facts. But people do disagree with them. The only way this is even conceivable is if those people are wrong about the facts. If leftists don’t want to fall in line behind the lesser evil, the only possible explanation is that they don’t appreciate the threat posed by the right.
The reality is that we do appreciate that threat. We just don’t fly into a panic and abandon all other priorities, because we realize that doing so means we’ve already lost all hope of defeating the right. People will only put up with that conservative “stay the course” platform for so long before they start looking at alternatives, especially during a broad period of decline. And “lesser evilism,” as I call it, is not “objectively correct” and is in fact a specific ideology and value system - one that is a proven failure at that. They can’t see those things because they simply don’t want to see them.
Our appreciation of the threat posed by the right is coupled with a historical analysis that reveals liberals to be part of the threat, an integral one no less.
The average American isn’t getting anywhere politically (imo) until they understand that both their major political parties are, ideologically, liberal parties (although the Republicans are becoming increasingly fascist as the empire decays)
