The alternative is the EU collapsing and the entire region becoming extremely unstable, which will lead to wars, revolutions, interventions and so on. Couple this with climate change and a billion climate refugees adding instability to the mix and I believe it’s the most likely outcome.

Yeah, I think this is the most likely too. Guess we’ll see what these revolutions look like
