Quite the opposite actually. The white bison is a part of Lakota folklore, that a white bison would be born to a wild herd on tribal land that would signify the time to reclaim Turtle Island. I may be getting parts of this wrong so indigenous comrades forgive, going off memory of what folks on the rez and other Lakota friends told me about it.
